As the latest Premiere have removed analogue capture from their latest update just wondered about this TVMW7

I suggest instead trying Corel VideoStudio Pro
That one should still have the ability do capturing of analogue video, if it can find the capturing drivers for your camcorder.
You can download the studio from Corel's site and try it out for 30 days, so that at least gives the ability to test if it works.

Does anyone know how to achieve Colour Correction changes in a clip? In Premiere it has keyframes from which to change colours exposure contrast etc. The only way I can achieve this (as a newby to TVMW7) is to split the clips and change the colour in the section that needs it but then there is no phased-in element

I just installed Authoring Works 5 to my brand-new PC w/ Window 10

But, under "Cut and Chapter Edit" for each title source, "play" function doesn't work (only FWD/RWD works). Whenever I click "play" it freeze and have to terminate program.

If any suggestion to how to fix this problem, pls kindly advise.

Hi, recently I got my new PC build and installed my old copy of TAW5 and noticed it never used the CUDA cores for rendering, I enabled cuda in the properties of TAW5 and all but CPU 100% all the time, do I have to setup CUDA on my video card or something? I have all driver updates, making BLU RAY disc from HD Avi files. Thanks!

I see that a chapter can have a font and font size change, but is there an APPLY TO ALL chapters option...with 20-30 chaptersits very time consuming changing individually

Even with the reincoding of videos there is no noticeable quality loss.

I have a 59.94 progressive source for media that is originally 24p.
What settings should I use to achieve 3:2 pulldown & transcode to 1080p24 ??

just did a quick test without any filter and plain conversion with 59.94p as input and 24p at encode stage: as one could expect, the result is an alternance of moments with perfect motion and moments with stuttering....
So, please what filter settings should I use for this scenario ?
Source is DNxHR in MOV container.

The only way I've seen it work in the past is if it was done through AVISynth using the VFAPI loader, but it appears that that no longer works. That's the method that worked with TVMW5, but since TVEM6 I ended up having to turn to MeGUI to encode 24p 720p materials. TVMW in any current form is not the tool to use for that anymore, unfortunately.

I am a happy TMSR5 user since many years.
I have 5.0.22.28 fully licensed up and running on my Win10/1903 machine.
When I run the 5.2.23.29 installer, I get a "The specified acccount already exists" message, then the installation rolls back & aborts.

I have no clue....Any idea ???

Having exactly the same issue. You'd think they would have fixed it by now.

I've reported the issue to Technical Support.

OK, this was the response from Technical Support:

"The error "The specified account already exists" occurred during installation or uninstallation.

If the error happens, some functions of the Windows installer may not work properly.

What worked for me was running the MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab file from the second download link. It scans for problems and then asks 'Are you having a problem installing or uninstalling a problem ?'. I chose 'uninstalling'. It then checks the registry and gives a list of programs to choose from. Select TMPGenc MPEG Smart Renderer 5 on the list. It then asks 'Uninstall and clean-up ?'. Select 'Yes, try uninstall'. It then fixed the problem and I was able to install version 5.2.23.29 successfully.

I have been trying to generate a slideshow using a constant bitrate. So far I have not been able to get that to work. I have tried to generate mp4 (H.264/AVC), mpeg2 and a few other types and always set the "Rate Control Mode" to "CBR (Constant Bitrate)". When I inspect the output file the bitrate is always variable and is not constant.

Is this a bug or am I missing some other option?

I am about to build a new computer and would like to transfer my Authoring Works 6 licence from my old computer to it - is there a way to do this?

As I understand it this is allowed under the licence.
Just make sure you have your valid key details, save any projects/templates etc. that you want to keep then uninstall it from your old computer.
Do a clean install on your new machine and using your licence code it should connect to the internet and activate it on your new machine.
Just make sure your old machine does not also try to re-activate it.
