TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6 BBS [ Sorted by thread creation date ]
I have a very new laptop with a gtx 4070. When exporting tmpegenc is not using any of the gpu/cuda. I have all the settings set up for it and gave it permission in the nvida control panel.
You may need to update your Nvidia driver, or check on Nvidia's Control panel > 3D settings > Program settings, check if the software is added, if not click Add select the software, restart your machine and check it.
I'm just trying to find out how to use Video Mastering Works to zoom-in or zoom-out within a video clip. Currently, I have to use my Corel VideoStudio's "pan and zoom" filter to zoom-in or zoom-out on segments of the video that I am editing but I would rather use Video Mastering Works for all of my video editing.
I've checked the Help documentation, the FAQs, and tried Googling it but I can't find any instructions for zooming-in or out in Video Mastering Works.
Does Video Mastering Works have a zoom function for video editing and, if it does, are there instructions somewhere for how to do it?
just did a quick test without any filter and plain conversion with 59.94p as input and 24p at encode stage: as one could expect, the result is an alternance of moments with perfect motion and moments with stuttering....
So, please what filter settings should I use for this scenario ?
Source is DNxHR in MOV container.
The only way I've seen it work in the past is if it was done through AVISynth using the VFAPI loader, but it appears that that no longer works. That's the method that worked with TVMW5, but since TVEM6 I ended up having to turn to MeGUI to encode 24p 720p materials. TVMW in any current form is not the tool to use for that anymore, unfortunately.
Has anyone worked with this device? My mp4 files always appear in Masterworks 6 as RE (re-render), files don't seem to match what Masterworks 6 thinks is "standard" for Blu-ray NTSC standard. They work ok, but to completely re-render the movie takes a LONG time, even with NVIDIA operational.
You mean Authoring Works 6, right? AW6 seems pretty strict when it comes to what's within standard and what isn't, but it's hard to say what might be causing it to re-render in your case without any data.
I just installed a gtx 1050TI on my work computer PC (windows 10 64 bit), downloaded and installed all drivers. The computer and every other program sees the new GPU but TMPG does not see it and wont allow me to look in the preferences to speed up the output in the NVIDIA tab. I have an intel i7-4770 with 16 gig of ram and more free memory than I can shake a stick at. Does anyone know why it wont recognize the new hardware or is there a plug in that I need? Thanks for your help
When editing dvb-ts programs the software can obviously see the subtitle sub-picture stream as it can 'burn' this into the output picture when encoding, however, it would be more useful to have this stream as a separate part of an MKV container as it could then be switched on or off as required. If this isn't possible how about a simple option to save the stream to disk for further processing.
This is a question I am also interested in. I am waiting to buy version 7 because I don't want to spend the money twice. But I never saw an official statement of pegasys, beside release notes there ist not much communication from the company.
For version 6 it took roughly have a year for an English/German version (Japan release 19. December 2014, English relelase 14. May 2015.
Japan release of version 7 was 27. November 2018, so I have hope that the western version is coming soon...
is there a possibility to add Keyboard-Shotcuts to the Software?
Would be nice to have a Shortcut for following Actions:
1. Timeline-Mode -> Right-click on Video in Video-trace -> "Clip in der Vorschauposition trennen" (GERMAN-Text) / means "Split clip at preview position" or equal in English text.
2. Timeline-Mode -> Right-click on time-bar "Keyframe hinzufügen" (GERMAN-Text) / means "Add Keyframe" or equal in English text.
3. Timeline-Mode -> Delete Clip and close Gap
I want to use this Keyboard-Shortcuts to give this functions to the Buttons of my "Contour Shuttle V2" device.
I try to convert the video (ts format) to ----> H.265 MKV file.
The video resolution is 1920x 1080
But I found the output file screen is scratches, many small error square holding on the screen in MKV file.
I checked the original file (ts format) by same video player software, but it is normal and no any error/scratches in the same part, so I report to you about this bug issue.
I tried 2 times to convert the video, but still find the same problem in the output file(MKV)
Below is the capture screen between the original file and after encoded file result and send for your comparasion.
hi im trying to capture video clips from a panasonic hdc-hs25 hd cam with my tmpgenc5 sw but it's not letting me capture more than 200 clips. anyone know if newer version (6) of sw can do this? or how i can do this with tmpgenc 5?
I think 200 is the limit for version 6 as well.
If you can combine them into one video, that could work. In other words, import 200, output as one video, then create a new project with the rest of the clips and the combined clip.
