TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6 BBS [ Sorted by thread creation date ]
hi im trying to capture video clips from a panasonic hdc-hs25 hd cam with my tmpgenc5 sw but it's not letting me capture more than 200 clips. anyone know if newer version (6) of sw can do this? or how i can do this with tmpgenc 5?
I think 200 is the limit for version 6 as well.
If you can combine them into one video, that could work. In other words, import 200, output as one video, then create a new project with the rest of the clips and the combined clip.
When I choose Shutdown as finishing task, it seems the system goes idle instead of shutting down. (this is Windows 10 / 1803)
The only visible track left by this action is in the Windows System log:
Log Name: System
Source: User32

Task Category: None

Description:
The process TMPGEncVMW6.exe has initiated the power off of computer XXXX on behalf of user XXXX\Benoit for the following reason: Other (Unplanned)
Reason Code: 0x0
Shutdown Type: power off
Comment:
the next event in the System log is only 8 seconds later and is an information-level event from 'Time service', but also in the Application log an event 102 from ESENT where 'The database engine (10.00.17134.0000) is starting a new instance (0)'.
This would suggest a reboot instead of a shutdown....although I see no clear event related to a reboot (e.g. events from the kernel; and 8 seconds seems a bit short for a reboot anyway)
I would like to make several montage with the same editing structure. How can I replace the clip source without cxhanging their duration ? if I just change the path, it changes the duration and remouves the transitions.
I purchased a replacement version of TVM6 as I had used the first version the maximum number of times allowed.
They have blocked my use of the NEW VERSION by AUTOMATICALLY USING THE OLDER VERIONS CODES.
They are becoming so untrustworthy now!!!!
OH, AND THEY STOLE THE SECOND PAYMENT I MADE.
DON'T TRUST THEM ANY MORE. I THINK THEIR TRADING LICENCES SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR LEGALITY.
I'll now only use TVM5 as the new system is used bt them for theft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do you mean "maximum number of times allowed"? The software doesn't limit you unless you were using a trial version. You shouldn't need to buy a second license just to keep using the software.
If you bought a new license and your computer still sees the old one, you need to delete or move the old license file. I believe it has a .lic extension if you need to look for it.
Did you buy this direct from the pegasys website? Just sounds weird the way you are describing things.
You may have bought the wrong product. TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works is a video converter and does not have smart rendering capability. You may have wanted TMPGEnc Authoring Works which is their Blu-ray/DVD authoring software.
Hi, I use Edius 9 Workgroup and I'd like to export from the Edius 9 timeline to H.265 HEVEC. If I buy TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6, is there iside the plugins for Edius 9? In other words while I install it Edius 9 get the plugins? Thnaks
In Normal Mode, an exact transition duration can be specified between two clips. In Time Line Mode, however, a transition is created when two clips intersect, but the duration is only based upon the size of the intersection. Please enable entry of an exact transition time and choice of transition by double-clicking on the intersection, which would bring up the transition screen as seen in Normal Mode. I am surprised that this capability wasn't in VMW5, either...

Curious if we're going to get DTS support at any point. I'm seeing an increasing need for this, to the point I'm having to shop about for other tools to do preprocessing.
If I import videos with DNXHD or DNXHR format like with 10, 12 or 14Bit, it works but in the Import Dialog I can see only 8Bit.
Does TMPGEnc this downsampling and use 8bit after import or its only a bug from the Importing Screen?
