I am loyal to TMPGEnc but the fact that Adobe Media Encoder encodes at 5 minutes a UHD mp4 file while TMPGEnc I just bought does it at 40 minutes is a shock. Please do something to speed up the process.

Does TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6 full version support the import of Edius HQ HQX .avi files.
The trial version did not.

If you have the codec, then it might be able to work by selecting a different file reader when you open the file.

You can do that by selecting a different file reader in the file explorer window that appears when importing your file. There is a drop down menu next to the filename text area. Just select one of the "Force Reader blah blah blah" options in the menu.

I am trying to export 10 Channel audio from a quicktime and if I encode to 5.1 (channels are labeled correctly in ID) then the audio is phased.
I cannot export separate audio files either as audio has the same issue.

I am trying to convert 23.976 QT to 25 frame MPEG2 with multichannel audio.

Any tips?

I just purchased downloaded to it to my Desktop workstation and it will not open and crashes with an error is there any issue I should be aware of? I get "Video Mastering works has stopped working"

I Got Video Mastering Works 6 to work once I did the latest Nvidia driver update. I hope this helps someone else.

When using the H.265/HEVC video decoder in the Stream Format, an environment with an Intel compatible CPU (Haswell core or newer) and a compatible driver with Intel Quick Sync Video functions are required.

I was looking to upgrade from mastering works 5 to 6 and saw that hardware encoding for x265 is supported for NVidia gtx 970 and up or intel whatever. Where is the support for AMD Fury-X? The Fury series cards have hardware encoder support for x265 yet nobody utilizes it. This is not just a TMPGEnc issue I know because none of the other multitudes of editors out there will touch AMD with a 10 foot pole. My frustration is that these fury cards seem to be purpose built for this kinda stuff and nobody seems to know how to implement it. The x264 solution is fine for most things but going forward please reach out to AMD and see if there is an API available for the necessary hardware calls for x265. Most likely the issue is AMD has no published data concerning the APIs that the developers need to implement support with. Until that happens I guess we all sit and scratch our heads while 8 gazillion stream processors with 9 TeraFlops of compute goodness does squat.

I need to watermark between 2000 and 3000 videos.
I want to use a filter (so I can apply batch in normal mode), only thing thing that comes close is the Mask filter. By using a layer with transparent image.

But the settings of the Mask filter are not saved upon 'save template' :(
So the position of the image is not saved and the range should be set to 'entire file', instead of start and end frame.

This might be a bug, is there any workaround to add a simple watermark image to a bunch of files, using normal mode?

If the watermark you need to attach is the same used for the other different videos i think you could add more layers with all the videos that require it, i am not sure the limit of layers with videos you can add but you can try the mas limit.
Then output as separate files each layer, the watermark layer should be in the top of the layers.
Try and let us know how was it.

I think CPU usage depends on the output format/codec. For MPEG-2 (both your output formats are MPEG-2), it might be a limitation of the actual MPEG-2 encoder. You should ask support.

Suddenly, after the latest update to version 6.1.4.25, I can no longer create videos using the XviD video codec, which was my main form of output using TMPGEnc for years.

Recently, I have been turning more and more to MKV and AVCHD output but still, occasionally, have reasons for wanting to create a simple XviD file.

Now, whenever I try to render a project using the XviD video codec, the program seems to start rendering -- showing "Status: Preparing Output" continuously. It never proceeds beyond that point to do any actual encoding. There is no error message, no crash, and no way to stop the process. The only way I can stop rendering is to shut down Video Mastering Works 6 by using the Task Manager [Windows 10 x64].

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing version 6.1.4.25 but that has not helped.

Is there any known fix?

fresh install of windows 10 with latest update with amd crismon driver latest. 16.3.2 with codec klite 12.1.5
intel i7 2600, asus p6 deluxe ,16gb memory, ati 290 vga.

got this error since 24 and i thought that was my windows problem.. but i after i formatted today i got same error :(

Check about your OS performance possibly there are some issues
related to "ntdll.dll" file:

Try this:
1.Restart your computer. The ntdll.dll error you're receiving could be due
to a one-time, temporary issue and a simple reboot may resolve the problem
completely.
2.Reinstall the program if the ntdll.dll error only displays when you use a
specific program.

Also check about the following:

1.- Quick Time
2.- Codec pack
3.- Other video applications

-Also if you have installed Quick Time or other non-free versions (ex.
QuickTime Alternative 2.3.0) of QuickTime software, please try by
uninstalling them or install the newest free version.

-There is the possibility that the codec pack is making conflict.
If you have installed Ffdshow ,K-lite or other codec pack
please uninstall them and try.
When the application starts it searches all codecs which are installed in
your PC. But when there are any broken, corrupted, trial finished an
unusable codecs, becomes such issue.
Have you installed some other software trial version which is for edit
or show video (except our software)?. Sometimes it will be the reason,
after end of its trial period.

-If you have other video applications (ex. Nero, Roxio, Pinnacle...) is
possible they may have conflicts with Video Mastering Works 6, please
try by uninstalling them.

Please, take a look at this video, about 4 minutes, and tell me, how can it be faster done? Is there a way to do less clicks? Maybe a template for the picture in picture mode? A shortcut?

I think there is not such thing as picture in picture template but you could try to save the project then just replace the videos you want to a new output.
