I am authoring AVCHD Progressive, using 1080 60p files that are from my camcorder, the Clip Checker shows that they are “High@Level 4.1 (HDMV Compatible) and is allowed to author file structure without re-encoding. All good.
If use files that are 1080 60p encoded with an external x264 encoder (not by TMPGEnc), I cannot get AVCHD Progressive compliant file, the Clip Checker shows a message:
“Does not meet the AVCHD Progressive PAL standard”:
What causes this problem?
Are there any specific x264 settings requires to follow?
What are recommended external, third party x264 settings to get AVCHD 2.0 (Progressive) compliant file that that Authoring Woks, Smart Renderer would accept and do not require re-encoding?
Is there a keyboard shortcut for splitting a movie clip in Time Line mode? Wished there was this option, but can't find it in the menu. So maybe there is a hidden key-combination or something like that? Thank you for your help!
I see that I can adjust a chapter point to a new position one frame at a time by right clicking on it and selecting 'previous frame' or 'next frame' but then I have to do the whole process again 10 times if I want to move it say 10 frames. Is there another way of doing this? Keyboard shortcut anyone? Otherwise it's quicker to recreate a new one and delete the old one, which seems a nonsense. In DVD Architect software it's simply a case of 'dragging' the marker to where you want it!
So I used TAW6 demo and never had this issue but I ended up buying the program and now I keep getting RE errors with my files.
I was able to correct many of the errors listed for the BDMV standards but the one still showing is the Track: High@4.1 level (HDMV compatible). Problem is my video file is High 4.1 so I don't know why this is showing.
Any way to fix this so my files do not need to be re-encoded?
I am working with titles within a track that have chapters of varying audio volume. When I try to adjust the volume within a chapter, it changes for the whole title. Is there a way to isolate the volume change for just the chapter?
They need to be compliant with the output format you're going for. So if you're making a Blu-ray, your source files need to be Blu-ray compliant. You can check some basics for the Blu-ray format at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray
I used a 3D animation program to generate a series of images. I want to compile them into a video file. I used to be able to do this with older TMPGEnc tools. Can it be done with VMW7? If so, How?
Hi,
TMPGenc Authoring Works 5
I have two tracks
1 is 40m 16 s
2 is 42m 44s
they show as orange beyond the 4.7Gb limit,, 226mm is the 4.7Gb length and 52mm of orange beyond it !
What are the steps I need to follow, to get both onto the 4.7Gb DVD disc ? please talk me through it. I appreciate there might be a slight loss of quality, its already SD from HD but I cant afford to use up 14 discs having 14 tracks to burn to dvd-r for an elderly friend.
Its annoying as I was hoping to put 4 tracks onto one disc, so I will be using up a lot more discs. I shall use DVD_RW and erase and re-use afterwards if I have enough !
He hasnt a tv with usb socket else showing the videos would be dead easy, but old folk have old kit !
Still updated to v6 some hours ago and I am very disapointed what I got for that price.
1. Export in lossless audio is still not working. Of course you can export to PCM, but only up to 2 channels (stereo) WHY? Technically its no problem, even better with usage as w64 or rf64.
2. Eport to (Multichannel)FLAC (in general) is still not possible? WHY? Its a free codec.
3. Smart-Recode not possible for eac3? WHY ? Even free encoder can do this (ffmpeg)
4. HDR possible ... fine, but what version? I guess only the easy HDR10, not HDR10+ and nor HLG ...
So I am again stuck in a not lossless workflow, by recompressing. If you have an eac3-Audiotrack inside your source it re-encode the whole track to ac3.
I dont want sound harsh, but for that price you want for these upgrades, its not a good deal, maybe this was my last one, benefits are less to none.
It would be nice to do Multichannel-output for FLAC and PCM/Wave, so you can at least work lossless in audio too.
