hello all, have a big problem i hope you can help me with.
I have xvid avi. I have no problems loading it however the file size goes up 3 times. I have read that you need to increase the directshow filter. I did that and it corrected the problem of the file size.
Now i have a problem that the final result is jittery. So i went back and reset the enviroment and the result was a long file that was not jummpy. It seems that when the directshow filter is raised to 1 then TMPengc wants to change it from a film to video.
This is driving me crazy! Right now either i get a long file that is unusable or a jumpy one. Can you please help!
I process large batches at night using TMPGEnc Plus 2.521. Sometimes these batches fail during the night. I need the encode log to be emailed to me everytime it saves the encode log to file automatically. Other programs have this feature but it doesn't appear to be in Tsunami. That leaves me with the option to learn Windows scripting to try and auto-generate emails or paying someone for their programming expertise. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
What I have read thus far on the problem of extracting VBR audio from AVI, converting that audio, recombining it with the video, and burning a working DVD that will actually play in a DVD player and display on my TV, is very vague at best.
Can someone direct me to a comprehensive howto manual?
I have just applied TPMGEnc (using Merge & Cut)to join two 5GB VOB files (from home movie DVDs)and convert them to MPEG-2. The result? Video works ok, but no sound. Is there something else I should have done? Can anybody advise me on the correct settings? Many thanks.
You've not done anything wrong, but the .vob files probably have Dolby Digital AC3 audio in them. If so TMPGEnc won't work as it doesn't support that audio codec. Use DeMultiplex feature to see the audio codec.
Reply back with the audio codec and I'll tell you what to do.
P.S. How did you extract the VOB files from the DVD?
You don't need ffdshow. All you need is TMPGEnc to convert an AVI film to MPEG2
The quality of the finished product will depend entirely upon the quality of the original AVI film.
You probably have a weird video codec that only Windows Media Player can understand. Use the program from http://avicodec.duby.info/ to find out the codecs and post them here. I'll try and help.
I want try your Media Editor but the istalling shield give me this message:
" error 1335 The cabinet file 'data1.cab' required for this istallation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."
after press "ignore" tab, a second message appears: "error 2350"
I downladed your trial version but does not install in my computer.
Can you help me?
I use Pentium III 850, 384Mb RAM, Window xp pro SP1
and I want to edit only 2 Mpeg videos 352x288 low definition......
Hi! I've converted anime AVI to MPEG and everything looks fine when I preview everything but once I burn into VCD and play on the tv, the subtitles are cut off at the bottom of the screen. I only see the tops of the letters. I've used 1:1 (VGA) with Full Screen and also 4:3 with Full Screen. What am I doing wrong?
Be careful to check the size of the VDO. It depends on TV standard. For NTSC or FILM VCD you need 352x240 for PAL it's 352x288. So if you've made a PAL disc and are playing it back on an NTSC player/TV you lose some of the screen.
I recently edited a mpeg2 file with TMPGEnc Editor without any resampling, after which the audio was visibly lagging in the edited version. I just needed to trim material from the original file. Why does the lag occur, and is there a simple fix? Thx for your help.
I have been using this software to edit before copying to DVD-Rs from Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T recording. I have also used Video ReDo Plus after editing. Both with a trial licence. Is there a single piece of software available to do both? If so how much is it? If not what is the current cost for using/continuing to use my trial set-up? [This trial set-up was at Hauppauge recommendation.]
Many thanks in advance.
i have theses white lines ontop of my Mpeg files is there a way to get rid of them using this program ( TMPGE nc NET ). I don't see the option. Please advise.
The .avi files my new Canon Powershot A620 cannot be loaded into TMPGenc - never had this problem with any other .avi's put out by digital cameras. Is it a weird codec or something? Other programs (FX Video Converter, Digital media Converter) can open them fine, but I LOVE TMPGenc and really want to use this - any ideas?
