hey, I was just wondering if there's anyway for me to fix this or if my computer is just screwed to hell. I want to convert a d2v file using TMPEG since I've heard it delivers very good quality, and I did everything to get the program to recognize the file type, my only problem now is that whenever I go to load the file, the program freezes up on me. Is there anything that can stop this or do I just need a new computer.

I am consistantly get the out of sync audio/video. The original movie is at 24.000 fps but none of the templates give me 24.000fps. It is either 29.97 or 23.976. i have followed several guides written but still always out of sync. What am I doing wrong?
After converting a MPEG file to AVI, the display and sound are great, however, the sound doens't line up with the video. You see the person talk, but then you hear the voice later. Is there a certain setting for this not to happen?
well before i used to get fuzzy pink stuff, so i uninstalled angelpotion. now theres no pink stuff, but theres also no sound when i encode it with tmpg. any help? i tried using decompress.exe and encoded the new file but same thing- no sound. however, using the decompress.exe method, sound waves show up when i go to source and preview it...as in...the sound waves go up and down, but there isnt any sound. no sound when i encode it either. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

If encoding with TMPGEnc 2.53 for SVCD with CQ 75,
VCDEasy v1.0.9 reports the following errors, and
fast forward/reverse go to the wrong locations.

I have exactly the same problems and get the same warnings of VCDEasy.
My Philips standalone DVD-712 stops playing if I choose fast forward or backward. Further on it show the wrong playing time; it¡s round about half of the real playing time.
Look at http://www.iki.fi/znark/video/svcd/overview/ under 6.5. I think this is the problem.
Does anybody know if TMPGEnc is able to create this special blocks with scan information? Does anybody know a tool that can do this with an MPEG-File?
