background priority set to high
windows 10 reports task manager average cpu usage 50%
Would be very helpful to get alot closer to 100%
Is there a way?
thanks

I think CPU usage depends on the output format/codec. For MPEG-2 (both your output formats are MPEG-2), it might be a limitation of the actual MPEG-2 encoder. You should ask support.
Suddenly, after the latest update to version 6.1.4.25, I can no longer create videos using the XviD video codec, which was my main form of output using TMPGEnc for years.
Recently, I have been turning more and more to MKV and AVCHD output but still, occasionally, have reasons for wanting to create a simple XviD file.
Now, whenever I try to render a project using the XviD video codec, the program seems to start rendering -- showing "Status: Preparing Output" continuously. It never proceeds beyond that point to do any actual encoding. There is no error message, no crash, and no way to stop the process. The only way I can stop rendering is to shut down Video Mastering Works 6 by using the Task Manager [Windows 10 x64].
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing version 6.1.4.25 but that has not helped.
hi there
i when i try to import a video and go to edit i got this error:
write error occurred at address 00007fff6cf0fe34 of module 'ntdll.dll' with 000000000024
fresh install of windows 10 with latest update with amd crismon driver latest. 16.3.2 with codec klite 12.1.5
intel i7 2600, asus p6 deluxe ,16gb memory, ati 290 vga.
latest version of tmpenc.. 26..
got this error since 24 and i thought that was my windows problem.. but i after i formatted today i got same error :(
can any one help me with that problem ?
Try this:
1.Restart your computer. The ntdll.dll error you're receiving could be due
to a one-time, temporary issue and a simple reboot may resolve the problem
completely.
2.Reinstall the program if the ntdll.dll error only displays when you use a
specific program.
Also check about the following:
1.- Quick Time
2.- Codec pack
3.- Other video applications
-Also if you have installed Quick Time or other non-free versions (ex.
QuickTime Alternative 2.3.0) of QuickTime software, please try by
uninstalling them or install the newest free version.
-There is the possibility that the codec pack is making conflict.
If you have installed Ffdshow ,K-lite or other codec pack
please uninstall them and try.
When the application starts it searches all codecs which are installed in
your PC. But when there are any broken, corrupted, trial finished an
unusable codecs, becomes such issue.
Have you installed some other software trial version which is for edit
or show video (except our software)?. Sometimes it will be the reason,
after end of its trial period.
-If you have other video applications (ex. Nero, Roxio, Pinnacle...) is
possible they may have conflicts with Video Mastering Works 6, please
try by uninstalling them.
my englisch isnt very good, so i produced a video showing our workflow with TMPEnc, especially the amount of work to do for a picture in picture setting.
Please, take a look at this video, about 4 minutes, and tell me, how can it be faster done? Is there a way to do less clicks? Maybe a template for the picture in picture mode? A shortcut?
I think there is not such thing as picture in picture template but you could try to save the project then just replace the videos you want to a new output.
cheers
I bought a new camcorder Sony PXW-Z150 and shot some footage encoded with XAVC-L codec and also with MPEG HD 4:2:2 (both in MXF container). I tried to add clips to the Video Mastering Works 6 project. Unfortunately, it can't be done...
Please, add the support of both XAVC-I, XAVC-L, and also MPEG HD 422 codecs in .mxf container, which are used in professional camcorders.
I hope they take this to the wish list.
If you want you could test with the MPEG Smart Renderer 5 - trial version: http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/download/tmsr5.html
try if you can import such files, however if you want to convert such files
such software is not the suitable.
When adding an elementary video stream, the audio stream is automatically added to the video if it's in the same location and it shares the same exact name as the video.
Is there any way to do this with multiple audio streams?
hi,
If your source file contains supported multi-audio streams, I think they will be imported automatically.
Then you can select the main audio stream in the Source stage > pull-down menu that is in the Audio stream, the other audio streams may be has the same name as the source video file.
cheers
The request is for audio Smart Rendering. No need to re-encode low-quality source files, or jump through hoops (demux/remux etc.) in order to keep the original audio.
Greetings, fellow users. Has anybody created a HD 1080i or 1080p template for HD video upload to Youtube for quickest encoding and fastest transcoding on Youtube's part? I would appreciate if someone could upload the templates to a cloud or send them via email. Thank you kindly.
Hi Dusan, I do not think that Youtube modifies and uploaded videos with transcoding. I routinely download from YouTube with Xilisoft Downloader and there is a wide variety of resolutions 8K down to 740p received. YouTube never touched the format.
I love the software; it's the only one I know that will retain the specs of the original master file.
Except for:
I am making a Blu-ray from DVD spec/VHS tape. The video portion stays the same as the original 10,000+kbps which is great, but the audio portion goes from 384kbps, down to 256kbps. I use the audio setting and set it to encode at 384kbps, but it still drops it down 256kbps.
This is a great release, much faster at editing than version 4. However, it would be even better if there was a way of setting ALL the defaults for the program as you can in Mastering Works 5. I edit mostly recorded TV programmes and always like to set the audio to 'Normaise'. Master Works 5 can remember this, lets have it for Smart Renderer as well please.
do you mean like having your output settings saved in a file?
If yes, i think is possible,
on format stage > make your settings > click Open menu button >
and choose "Save as user output settings file".
Later you can open such file the same way by choosing "Import user output settings file".
cheers
In Video Mastering Works 6 under 'Preferences' 'Clip Edit Settings' Default Settings' there is an option for a 'Default Filter Template' where I can choose a default filter template to apply to all projects. Since all my editing is of TV programmes I've recorded I always set the Audio to Volume Normalise.
There seems to be nothing like this in Smart Renderer.
