I have a project with 5 HD video tracks. All I changed was the menu duration and deleted the Play All button. I made no chenges in source material at all. I assumed that it wouldn't require re-rendering on the complete project, but that's what happened.
My question is why? Surely the menu is kept separate from the rest of the content.
Now I'm looking at a 12-hour render, and that's with an i7-6700K cpu (4 Ghz).
When you output, it creates the entire project from scratch, so if your videos were fully rendered the first time, they will be fully rendered every time you want to output the project again.
What you could do, is create a new project and import the videos from your first output. Since they would be compliant, they should "smart render" and not take long to output. You'd also have to save your menu as a template, so you can load it much easier on your second project without having to recreate it.
I can't find this option so I suspect it doesn't exist but thought I'd ask. Is there a software filter for image stabilization to take some camera shake out of action cam footage?
Hello, Currently I use Apollo Audio DVD Creator, but it is somewhat limited. Can an audio DVD be created in TAW5? If so, Can someone outline the steps? I would need: album links on first page, then a page for each album, displaying song links, returning after each one played.
Hello, I have not been able to find an answer to this question and am looking for help, please.
When creating a menu, why is there only 16 chapters available for 16x9, while 4x3 gives you up to 32? It would seem that you have more screen area on a 16x9 screen. Also, are there any third party utilities that will let you edit TAW5 chapter screens? Any help is appreciated.
I think it's a weird limitation of the DVD-Video specifications, if I remember correctly. I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but it's not a limitation made by Pegasys.
You may need to adjust the bounding box around your image.
TAW5 tends to make a larger bounding box than the actual image which can make resizing more difficult.
Select your image to see the bounding box and then adjust the height.
Once the height is adjusted, you should be able to increase the width to the full width of the screen.
Is there a way to manually re-sync the audio track to the video track in an MP4 file? This is a breeze in Vegas Pro, but I don't see anything that seems to permit it in VMW 6
After activation/validation is already performed, can the computer be disconnected from the Internet?
As long as no updates are applied to smart renderer 5, the software is not moved to a new computer, the computer's OS/hardware is not changed, etc., will the software then function indefinitely after initial activation/validation, or will the software require the computer to be connected to the Internet periodically in order to continue functioning?
That's pretty much a deal killer for me. That is ridiculous and inexcusable for software to require phoning in to Big Brother regularly or it'll stop working.
Activation by itself is not a deal killer. Revalidating if the software is being updated or moved to another machine is not a deal killer either. But this goes way beyond that.
It's not phoning in to "Big Brother", but to the company that made the program. No need to get paranoid. Having said that, it does make the program more difficult to use, but I guess it's an anti-piracy measure.
