In reality, you can't remove or delete a tv channel logo, with out messing with the pixel size, who will be fully visible in the video after the attempt.
I have tried to look at several videos, where people has made such removal/delete attempts and the job they all did looked terrible, because they all ended up with a annoying wide blurry line all the way across the entire screen.
So don't even go there, its looks terrible when ever some one tries to do it.
There its just better to keep the logo intact, just like every scene rippers do, to keep the entire image intact.
Yes, this can be done with animation key points in Timeline mode.
Simply make at least two key points in an animation timeline, one for your zoom start point and one for the end point.
Navigate to the end point, then in the preview window, drag the anchor points to resize the video and position as you see fit.
I built a new system in 2014 and have one minor issue with TAW5 I can't seem to sort out. I'm hoping somebody here might have an answer.
Burning a BR data disc takes about twice as long as it did on my previous system that was running TAW4. I ran a test to compare the systems, using the TAW4/5 disc writing tool, moving 22.685GB of identical data to Verbatim 6X BD-Rs. The results...
OLD MACHINE, TAW4 (4.0.7.32), 15:23 to burn. (Asus P5B deluxe M/B, Intel Dual Core 6400 at 2.13 GHz, 2GB RAM, Win7 Pro SP1 32-bit, LG 8X BR writer)
NEW MACHINE, TAW5 (5.2.2.61), 29:58 to burn. (Asus P9X79Pro M/B, Intel Core i7 3920K @ 3.2GHz, 32GB RAM, Win7 Pro SP1 64-bit, LG 14X BR writer)
I've tried changing the SATA channel for the BR writer, the SATA cable, updated to the newest version of TAW5, and even swapped the writer (from a 14X Pioneer to the current LG 14X optical drive). No matter my change, 29:58 to burn it.
Burned discs seem to work fine, so it's not a huge issue. I just can't help but think that I have something set wrong somewhere.
Just a suspecion, but perhaps you have a lot of stuff running in the background that you are not aware of, who is stealing a lot of your memory away.
Try do download Process Explorer and investigate your entire system to see what is running with out your knowledge: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
Regular cleaning of the entire system also helps to speed up the computer, this you can do with CCleaner https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
After I installed the latest TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4.0 build 4.1.4.51 my antivirus SW WebRoot identified two Trojan Horses among the AW files! It reports that two files are infected with W32.Trojan.Gen virus. Those files are: effcaaudiofilter.vme and moviempeg.vme.
When I authorized WebRoot to clean these files, AW 4.0 stopped working with a message "required files are missing to boot"...
Anyone else with the same problem? Fixes?
I wrote a ticket to TMPGEnc 2015/01/09 (Fri) 07:29:14 (JST) but never received any input from them.
I would like to be able to create my own templates. can someone guide me on how I can do this. I have Photoshop, Illustrator etc. and would like to be able to create my own customised backgrounds and buttons. Thank you.
Backgrounds are just images, so just make an image at the size of your menu (1920x1080 for example). You can change the background in the menu editor or you can add it as an item that appears in the menu parts list when you create a custom menu by using the Menu Item Creator.
Custom buttons can be created by using the Menu Item Creator in the "Advanced Tools" section. You can create your buttons in Photoshop and put each button on it's own layer (or just make an image for each button). Each layer must be named a certain way and then you can just import the psd file into the Menu Item Creator and it will automatically apply each layer to the appropriate button function. See the help file for detailed instructions on how to name each layer.
Finally, you can also create custom thumbnail frames with using the Menu Item Creator. Again, the help file is probably the best way to learn how to do this.
Once you create these elements, they will show up as parts in the custom menu wizard. Then, you can create your menu and then save it as a template, which will then show up as a selectable menu template in the menu wizard.
Hello, anyone there any information on the NVENC support since the abandonment of NVCUVENC after nvidia 337.88 drivers?
Thank you in advance for any info.
The high-speed hardware encoder "NVENC"
NVIDIA's Kepler core corresponding to the H.264 / AVC output in the new generation high speed hardware encoder "NVENC" to be mounted on a graphics card (GeForce 600 series) or later. Compared to encode in the conventional CUDA *, speed, so we image quality is significantly improved, you spread the width of the applications further.

I wonder how 10-bit sources are subsampled to 8-bit during conversion ?
Just plain stripping of the LSB ?
What implications on how to best prepare the 10-bit source (dithering ?)
Maybe inrelated to the above Q, but I was making some tests with a jpeg2000 encoded video (4.2.2, 10bit, Avid implementation) in a QuickTime MOV container, and noticed that the luma range was incorrectly detected by TVMW (needs significant contrast & brightness boost)
when i try to load an .avi i made with the Lagarith Lossless Codec, i get this Error: Invalid Sampleformat (Error 0x80048002).
Tried to search on the Web for it, but nothing useful came up. Any suggestions what i can do?
My PC recently died.I removed the hard drive and transferred the contents(including Authoring Works 4)to the new PC.
So now that I have done that, how do I access Authoring Works?
I created a short cut,but when I click on it,I am asked for some kind of code or key or serial number, which I no longer have,as I purchased it over 5 years a go.
If you haven't done that (and you really should have, especially if you ever downloaded a software update), then you might have to contact customer support via this form: https://ssl.pegasys-inc.com/webapp/inquiry/serial?lang=en
Each week I use the "Picture Crop" filter to process hundreds of 16:9 camera files to 4:3 and then convert them to either MPEG-1 or MPEG-2. The "Picture Crop" filter requires that I enter two crop values for each file, which is pretty tedious when doing many files.
Is there any way to automate this process such as Photoshop has using scripts (and even better using a "Droplet")?
Ideally this script would automate the process from file open to output.
If you are always using the same values, you can save the filter settings as a filter template. Then you simply load the template for each project/video.
If you are always using the crop filter, you can set your filter template as the default filter settings, then you won't even have to load the template file.
To do this, go to Options-->Preferences-->Clip editing-->Clip Default Preferences, and then select your filter template as the default.
