Question - Converting image sequence to video clip No.71707
Paul Peterson  2021-01-27 23:31:57 ( ID:ibpgxkvuu3n )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

I used a 3D animation program to generate a series of images. I want to compile them into a video file. I used to be able to do this with older TMPGEnc tools. Can it be done with VMW7? If so, How?

AndyOscarGoesTo  2021-03-06 22:04:22 ( ID:ubpdnr85q7l )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Sure, just add them to one layer in Time Line mode.

Question - NOT save resolution to template (tvmw7e); No.71692
Bullhead  2020-12-31 02:49:59 ( ID:ihigapn18/2 )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

One question, if save format template (tvmw7e) - too is save resolution? But then is template unusable:-(. If I use sources in different resolutions, then load template always set too resolution (save in template), but this is bad (output not keep ration from input).

Is possible NOT save resolution to template? Only save others settings?

thanks for info
BJ

Bullhead  2020-12-31 03:19:31 ( ID:ihigapn18/2 )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

...same problem FPS ...input source(s) in more FPSs (24, 23.976 etc.) - but after load format template FPSs "hard" set to template value (like resolution:-(). In most cases is change FPS undesirable.

Is possible NOT save resolution (after load template resolution set from original video OR after load template resolution set only WIDTH from template and HEIGHT set by aspect ratio) and NOT save FPS?

Maybe new settings(check boxes) in preferences (-not save resolution - not save FPS)?

B.

Question - Can this program capture video from a camcorder No.71662
cm004d8137  2020-10-31 04:30:55 ( ID:3z9ljb3/nwh )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

As the latest Premiere have removed analogue capture from their latest update just wondered about this TVMW7

Persen  2021-01-25 22:19:23 ( ID:2oiuxu6k.aj )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

I suggest instead trying Corel VideoStudio Pro
That one should still have the ability do capturing of analogue video, if it can find the capturing drivers for your camcorder.
You can download the studio from Corel's site and try it out for 30 days, so that at least gives the ability to test if it works.

Question - Colour Correction changes during clip No.71660
cm004d8137  2020-10-29 05:22:21 ( ID:3z9ljb3/nwh )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Does anyone know how to achieve Colour Correction changes in a clip? In Premiere it has keyframes from which to change colours exposure contrast etc. The only way I can achieve this (as a newby to TVMW7) is to split the clips and change the colour in the section that needs it but then there is no phased-in element
Thanks in advance

Question - Constant bit rate for Slideshow output No.71581
Rowan  2020-08-24 00:49:53 ( ID:ny5j87/ow0n )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

I have been trying to generate a slideshow using a constant bitrate. So far I have not been able to get that to work. I have tried to generate mp4 (H.264/AVC), mpeg2 and a few other types and always set the "Rate Control Mode" to "CBR (Constant Bitrate)". When I inspect the output file the bitrate is always variable and is not constant.

Is this a bug or am I missing some other option?

Question - TVMW7 not support DTS sound/audio? No.71571
Bullhead  2020-08-11 09:33:18 ( ID:ihigapn18/2 )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

If I open in TVMW7 MKV with DTS, video ok, but audio tracks not show. TVMW7 not support DTS? Really?

Freeware Avidemux support DTS...
Freeware HandBrake support DTS...
Freeware MeGUI support DTS...
...

?

Persen  2021-01-25 21:29:11 ( ID:2oiuxu6k.aj )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Just download and install LAV Filters from Videohelp.

Then in TMPGEnc go this path: Preferences => Input/Output Format List => File Reader Setting
Here de-select all, accept MPEG File Reader and DirectShow File Reader

Then you get import support for even DTS-HD Master and Dolby Atmos.

Those free tools you mention, use the very same open source DirectShow filters as LAV Filters are delivered with.

If Pegasys had to pay for the actual codecs from Dolby and DTS, then you can count on that the TMPGEnc softwares would be at least 6 times more expensive, which is rediculous when you can use DirectShow filter packages like LAV Filters instead.

Is there a way to output Atmos?

Question - Video Stuttering No.71562
Ghastor  2020-08-02 23:28:00 ( ID:m8uuj/m7sp6 )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Hi!
Original version from mastering works 5, 6, and 7, not trial.
Some video output have some stuttering problem.

I've tested with "For a Few Dollars More" bluray input.
original bluray have vc1 codec, my output is hevc and avc (x265 and x264 respectively).

Question - Timecode Burn-in - Can I do it on TMPGEnc ? No.71550
media@tvscreen.com  Home )  2020-07-22 20:22:46 ( ID:zx5ffbqz2af )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Can I do Timecode Burn-in from the original recording TC?

I tried it using the proper settings under Titles>Subtitles and it just creates source TC from "0". What might I be doing wrong? Thanks in advance
