When trying to save as MPEG file I am stopped with message 'VBV buffer size too large for selected level'. How can I reduce the VBV buffer size so I can save the file? I have tried reducing the picture quality significantly but this makes no difference.
How fast can I make a 50 minute DVD with Tmpgenc. I am interested in using this product to make DVDs from mpeg-2 files from my Sony hard drive camcorder. The files were shot in Standard Definition /Standard Quality. The files are of sports events. I do not want to edit the files, but simply rearrange the files. I would also like to have each file in its own chapter. I tried this with editors not specific for editing mpeg, but it took forever to get the job done.
It will be very fast since this product does not re-encode your video. However, since it is not an encoder, your source video must be compliant with whatever output format you're going with.
I suggest you download the trial and try it for yourself. I believe you can go through the whole process of creating a test DVD, but the your video must be less than 30 minutes (just a limitation of the trial version).
I was wondering, if there's possible for future releases add Audio Leveling by RMS tecnique? and .VOB support (Main cases it opens .VOB, but not allways)
Those are 2 things i miss... Everything works perfectly...
Aloha! I would like to know if the DVD-RAM files I edit in MPEG Editor 3 can then be burned to an ordinary DVD-R disc, or if they have to be copied back to a DVD-RAM disc? In other words, can I convert these RAM files to DVD-R? Email me if you want.
hello...
i need to know does TMPGEnc Mpeg Editor or EMPGEnc XPress open video files with mkv extension ?
i couldn't open this files on TMPGEnc Mpeg Editor 2. does it works on EMPGEnc Mpeg Editor 3?
Can anyone help ? The resulting mpegs from TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 play fine in powerpoint visually - but theres no sound. Its driving me nuts ! Any suggestions ? Thanks !
When I output my project in BD format, it appears to create the necessary folders/structure.
However when I burn to disc and try to play the movie it won't play - for example PowerDVD says the disc is in Unsupported format.
If you select "copy DVD files to hard drive", how do you cleanup, by deleting, those files after you don't need them any more? I don't see a selection for that in the preferences, do you just find the folder where they are stored and delete them?
I bought TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 earlier today. I captured a TV show using a PC capture card. MPEG2 video is PAL Progressive, I would like the output file as MPEG2 NTSC Interlace before I burn this to a DVD-R. I can't find the setting to change this video setting. I'm really disappointed. Can't TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 do this? Is this a software bug? If not, I want my refund. All I'd like to do is simply remove the commercials, and output as MPEG2 NTSC Interlace before burning. Which program can make this output? Please help, thank you.
You can change it to NTSC in the Format Stage under Video Settings-->Aspect ratio.
However, I don't think you can change it from progressive to interlace since that would require re-encoding the whole video...and MPEG Editor 3 is not an encoder; it's only an editor.
I have two clips to join, but the audio levels are quite different. I tried adjusting the louder one down, then opening the other and listening to see if it is the same, then repeating this but i never get it quite right. Is there some way to visually see the levels, or a better workaround?

hi,
Did you update or upgrade your Security system?.
Some times secure software checks actions in the memory, if it is
blocked to run the program correctly comes such crash, please run the
program by turning off your security software, or check its block list
and settings.
-Also try to run the program as administrator.
-Also...please try to update your video and graphic drives.
Did you made a Windows update?, if so try to back the point before such
update, this also provokes errors, possibly is a wrong Windows update.
Also may be there is a problem with your graphic card spec, check about them.
