TMPGEnc 2.5 (Free or plus version) BBS [ Sorted by thread creation date ]
Hello everybody,
I'm new here. I have downloaded "Free Video Converter". It does not work for me. I select a MP4-file which was taken with my smartphone on android. I get every time the message "failed to convert video data". What may be I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in forehand and regards
TMPEGEnc plus 2.5
Video info: I Frames only (SD=PS,HD=TS)Mpeg2 files
When looking at video frame by frame by double clicking "Source Range" under the "Advanced tab" in "Setting"
The application IS NOT decoding the last hand ful of frames properly.
EXAMPLE:
TMPEG shows 1024 frames of video
MEDIA INFO: shows more (by length in milliseconds)
VELA: mpeg decoder card shows more
Again the issue is that it seems the application cannot decode the end of video files accurately.
-What can I do?
-Can somebody help me by suggesting an alternate way in TMPEG to do this?
-The settings seem complex but we ONLY use TMPEG to look at video frame by frame...just a QC measure.
-How can I make sure the TMPEG application is set up correctly to show ALL the frames of video.
I am trying to convert a video of 'avi'format to one group of photos. which template I should load? I have tried the 'SuperVideoCD (NTSCFilm).mcf' and 'VideoCD (NTSCFilm).mcf', but the preview and photos converted are all black images.
Is there anyone could kindly tell me the reason and how to do with this problem?
Thanks a lot.
I've been using version 2.5 for many years with no problem. Now suddenly when I attempt to edit a video the display only appears in the upper left hand corner of the edit screen and it's only a portion of the full screen. Does anyone have any ideas what has happened and if there is anything I can do to get things sorted out? Thanks!
What OS are you using? It might have to do with the Windows OS display zoom feature (don't remember what it's actually called). Basically you can make text appear larger which is helpful for large, high res displays. Unfortunately, this can screw up things in various programs such as TMPGEnc. Going back to 100% text size usually fixes the issue.
I'm not sure if that's the source of the problem but it sounds similar to things I've experienced in other TMPGEnc apps.
I'm using Windows 8 (actually 8.1 now). I have made no changes to my display settings. I was hoping the upgrade to 8.1 might do something to fix the problem but no such luck.
Hi, I've de-multiplexed a movie that's in a vob file in my pc. I've done this by going into MPEG Tools and double-clicking the audio file. When I go play the audio file that I have demuxed, I don't hear anyhting. It has three audio files and none of them make a sound when I play them after being demuxed.
