I use the Edit Menu to cut out commercials. I would like to save my project as I go just in case I make a mistake, or something goes wrong. I have to leave the Edit Menu and go to the OPTIONS button to save my project. Adding a SAVE PROJECT button to the Edit Menu would be helpful.
I use the Edit Menu to cut out commercials. Sometimes, I would like to UNDO the last cut and change the start / stop position. A UNDO LAST CUT button would be helpful.
I will answer my own request, the UNDO is in the EDIT MENU under the EDIT CUT screen. I never looked there before today. It will undo the last cut and return the clip as it was before the cut. There is also an UNDO all cuts under the EDIT MENU button (Reset cut editing, but I have not used that yet).
I can change the highlight on the play button using PhotoShop but I was wondering if it there was any way to change the highlight on a moving thumbnail. I would rather have a border around the thumbnail and blue would fit better with my theme than yellow. Is this possible?
i recently purchased a mpeg2 capture device and have been checking out software for editing the files. i have tried this program, but everytime i merge/cut the mpeg2, i lose all audio. any ideas on what i am doing wrong...or know of any other programs out there worth trying. i tried womble, which is cool, but i can't edit exactly where i want to (i tell it the exact frames to edit out, it decides to cut somewhere close) oh yeah, archsoft showbiz sucks for editing too. thank you for any help/advice
So far TMPG DVD Auth has been v easy to use and effective. However I have something that I cant seem to do. Most authoring programmes use the filename of the mpeg as the defaul chapter name, but in TMPG the titles are Chapter 1, Chapter 2 etc (as far as I can remember) and I have to rename each track. How do i just get it to use the filenames? After all, the filenames are already in the Chapter window.
Just started with TDA and I must say it looks very promising. however I would like to choose if a link to another menu or item is a button or text. it doesn't seem as if this is possible now. I want to have two buttons on my main menu... one for play, and one to go to the chapters menu. also you should be able to delete links that you don't want.
this would be a selling feature for me, with the motion menus and the ability to change the "selected effect" with layers in photoshop, TDA would be just what I'm looking for.
I had a SVCD I used TMPGenc to convert it to separate audio and video files, which both work fine. I am now using TMPGenc DVD Author to encode it to DVD format. This is for a client and they want the video this way. Anyway, I have tried doing this 3 times, and each time the video plays fine but every few seconds the audio goes out. Anyone have suggestions?
i recently purchased tmpgenc.
i would like to use it again, after having run the 30 day trial.
but there seems to be no prompt fr where to enter the number...
and no directions, other than going through registration on line
which does nothing to change status of software...
If you perchased TMPGEnc. They gave you a number.
Write that number in something like wordpad then copy it ctrl and c, then open TMPGEnc and click registar then click your cursor in the registration line and press ctrl and v your number goes on the line, you can now run the prg to your hearts content.
xvid looks like a realy good program and was wondering can i use it with tmp which would give a small but exerlent picture and can it be added to it instead of what it uses and how? thanks for info
All without repeating to add each clip to each track.
If the Clip is already recorded on one track and I would like to add it to another track also. Is there a way to insert it into the movie without adding to the bulk of the disk.
To give an example : Series Shows start with an INTRO episode. The it goes to the Theme of Show. Show plays and then End Credits appear.
Would like a way to Schedule track to play different order of Tracks and clips to create a movie from all the Tracks/Clips on disk without repeating.
Track Play Card would make this happen.
Select which clip would play first. Usually first clip any but for ease just like first play on DVD Author. Play Card would contain all clips from track.
You could then arrange Play card to play any sequence you want. You could even add another track/clip anywhere in the play card to play once and return.
Example: Track 1 Play Card
Clip 1: Play Next Clip : NFA <- No Further Action
Clip 2: Play Track 40 Clip 1 : Return to play next clip
Clip 3: Play Next Clip : NFA
Clip 4: Play Next Clip : NFA
Clip 5: Play Next Clip
Clip 6: Play to end of track
I understand it may be nessesary to only have 1 clip per track. That would not be a big problem but it would create a nightmare for the menu. Making the number of tracks to correspond to the Menu is much more easier than created 100's of tracks for each clip and having the system jump back and forth.
Background picture is loaded.. You are allowed to Zoom in on the picture to fill the background but you cannot shrink the picture to fit into the safe zone for the TV. Numerous pictures I have used required that I reduce the picture in Photosuite to enlarge it slightly in DVD Author. Want to ensure no picture is not displayed properly on TV. Mechanism is allready in program. Should be allowed to resize picture to ensure it fits TV Safe Zone.
These are more enhancements to program to ease creation.
Create Project to allow the insertion of Jpeg Slideshow and create a DVD based on pictures like Kodak Picture CD on DVD
