TMPGEnc Authoring Works 7 BBS [ Sorted by thread creation date ]
This is driving me crazy, where is this menu?! In the online guide (precisely at this link (https://help.pegasys-inc.com/en/taw7/30325.html) it says that I can change these numbers, but I can't find this option anywhere"!
I've read at numerous locations on the web (seemingly generated by AI) that TMPGEnc Authoring Works 7 can output to an ISO disk image. It says one only needs to click on the Output to ISO button. Is this true? I do not see an output to ISO button anywhere in the Output section of Authoring Works 7. Is there something I'm missing?
Hello.
I need help. I have a track of song videos, say 30 videos. on the menu, each page of track 1 has 10 songs, along with next page, etc. All selections in the menu are 'Back to Menu' after playing. If I click 'Play All', it starts at song 1.
Is there a way to only have it play the 10 songs on page 2. without changing the end action to 'Play Next Chapter'? Like 'Play All' but only for the videos on that page (11-20).
I tried changing Main Menu background video & audio and received the following error:
illegal floating decimal point calculation order. Floating point division by zero [code:c000008E VMESys.dll ModuleBase:000000006A880000 Address:000000006AC36D11].
This is the path i used to update the background: Menu > Page Edit > Background Edit > within Source File Settings clicked Browse, then added video clip.
Tried several other videos for the background, but still received the same error message.
What am I failing to understand with changing the background video. Ironically I can change the audio without an issue.
Compared to DVD Architect, TMPGEnc has a difficult learning curve.
When trying to play my BluRay on a conventional Hardware Player, everything works fine until I reach the minute mark 45:57 on Track 1 (main movie). The movie just freezes. The only way to resume is to fast forward or rewind for 1 sec and then hit play. Now the movie plays back seemlessly.
The track contains only one larger file (01:13:14) an 13 chapters. None of the chapters fall on this timecode. When I play it back on a disc drive on my PC (via VLC Media Player), it all works perfectly fine.
I came from a DVD authoring environment 20 years ago using Scenarist, so the terminology I use is based upon that software.
What I'd like to know is how to create a non-skippable screen at the beginning of the Blu-ray disc (Scenarist calls this a 'no op'). This would be like a copyright notice at the front end, that we don't want to be skipped, but play for 5-8 seconds. Is it possible in Authoring Works 7? If so, how is it implemented?
I'm on the Trial Version on Authoring Works 7, this is the questiuon that can make me buy ot not the software.
I have a lot of mkv videos with subtitles and various audio files, i want to import them and make my personal blurays but whenever i import something it doesn't include the option to see the subtitles that are already on the video i'm importing. I don't want to pass it to Handbrake to make more files and making my process slower, so i was asking if i'm doing something wrong or how i correct it
I'm making a menu and I'd like to make the title tracks appear some seconds later than the beginning of the video I'm adding on the background. Here I'm attaching a video of mine as an example so as to make it clear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiV2BlHQ1tk
I've been able to do that by using the fade-in effect on the track titles and making the highlights opaque (as I can't find a fade-in effect for those). However, if you use the arrow on the screen and press randomly (even if you can't see the titles), any of the videos will play, as the disappearing and appearing of the titles is nothing but an optical effect. What I want is the actual options to play the video to appear later (not just the titles' pictures).
Hi there. I'm brand new to TMPGEnd Authoring Works 7. However, I've worked in video editing for the last 30 years, so I'm not quite a newbie to the field.
I created some subtitle files in Premiere for a video I need to make a Blu-ray of, and I tried embedding it in the Quicktime file, I created a side file in srt format, and also converted it to .subtitle format also, but I seem unable to import it in the project.
It's as if I need to create the subtitles straight in the project, which would be insane, when you already have a file available.
Hello, I am trying to create a blu-ray menu for a physical release of my short films.
This is all I’m trying to do:
• Intro video with my company logo.
• a Top menu with “Play All” and “Select Film” buttons.
• Play All plays all films then returns to the top menu.
• Select Film takes you to the first film’s menu page.
• a menu page for each film with “Play” “Next” and “Main menu” buttons
• Play plays the film then returns to that films menu page.
•Next goes to the next films menu.
• Main menu goes to top menu.
• Last film is simply “Play” and “main menu”
this seems like it should be relatively simple, but boy oh boy, I’m beating my head against a wall here.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
I created a Blu-ray with Top- & Track Menus. The disc will contain 2 Tracks. I want my Player jump back to the Top Menu once each track as played to the end.
However, when the main feature (Track 1) ends it automatically plays the Bonus Track (Track 2) but I want the disc to return to the main menu once track 1 is finished.
Within the "Blu-ray Global Menu Settings" I have selected the following settings:
"Disc Insertion Action" > Display Top Menu
"Default Track Playback End Action" > Display Top Menu
"Player Menu Button Action" > Display Top Menu
I have searched and clicked far and wide but I couldn't find a solution to my problem
Unbelievable 😂, right after I had posted this issue to the forum (after 2 days of trying to fin out myself) .... I found the solution within 5 minutes 😂
The Solution:
In the 'overview window' where you can see all menu pages at once...
....I simply hat to click on
"Display Item Settings" > "Main List Settings" > "Appearance of Play Button: Play All" > "Behaviour of Play Button: Play/ Select First Item in Page" (instead of "Play All Tracks")
Well, should anyone elses in future have the same issue.... Here's your solution 😅
