Question - TDA3 - avisplitter.ax error? No.60563
lalalala  2008-03-26 00:04:49 ( ID:vy1fjcocqa. )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

I try to output my DVD but I get an error regarding reading the avisplitter.ax. I have reinstalled the file but it doesn't help. I got it to work one time during output and now it's not working at all. In the first 5 minutes there's a bunch of FDDshow icons in the system tray which the number increases and decreases and eventually disappear. And then the error appears.

Thanks

Hi, i'm tyring to use TMPGEnc xpress 4.0 to convert my AVCHD files (.mts)

I've read numerous places that the Codecs installed by power dvd 7 trail enable TMPGEnc to view these files and transcode them. Unfortunately i'm only able to hear audio and no video. Any guidance on configuring TMPGEnc to work properly with AVCHD files (.mts) would be great.

Thanks!

tkrave  2008-05-05 22:15:59 ( ID:lgrl8ryjzyl )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

AVCHD is not supported as far as I know.

huy  2008-06-07 05:39:04 ( ID:txq5tgsiqqn )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

for avc or vc1 files download the free program called tsmuxer and convert the file to m2ts. That converted file will then be able to be imported to Tmpgenc

Question - TDA3 - Importing title/track names from DVD No.60562
doobre  2008-03-21 10:00:31 ( ID:xsmtimuigla )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Hi there.
When I import a DVD-RW finalised in VR mode into TDA to reauthor (recorded in pioneer DVD recorder) TDA reads all the title information, name, duration, chapters etc.. which is excellent.

But as TDA is already reading this information is it possible to get TDA to automatically read the title name from the imported DVD and set it as the name of the track to be reauthored in TDA???
this would cut done the need to copy/paste the names of all the titles into the tracks names..
cheers
CD

When trying to encode a Divx file to a simple dvd. That error appears.

Using Windows Server 2008 64bit.

Pickachu  2008-03-20 12:01:24 ( ID:h/td.rks9lc )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Also using TMPGEnc 3.1.1.174.
When it was version 3.0.9 it worked correctly.

Question - TDA3 - Edit & Save Same Settings NOT Transcode Again -Possible? No.60558
Dean  2008-03-19 20:48:10 ( ID:6cwjtvbbie. )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

Is it possible to edit DivX encoded files just to cut out sections & then splice it back and save it into a new file without having to transcode the entire file again?

Will Author 3.0 (or TMPG XP) do this??? Current version of Author says it uses "smart encoding"... "Perform precise frame cut-edits with Smart Rendering"

Thanks for your help!

Dean

I have don that with Author 3.0. The files were not re-encoded. The transcode took a few minutes for an hour or more worth of video.

-I note that it was Divx encoded by TMPGEnc 4.0.

Donald  2008-03-15 21:01:49 ( ID:pappgmjf1vl )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

I just find the japanese edition ownes very much templates, and they are very pretty. I just wonder if they can be applied in english edition. If not, how they can work?

MrSato  Home )  2008-06-04 05:54:41 ( ID:yvskm9iwqhf )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

I would like to know the answer to this also... and if they do work, can someone hook me up with the Japanese templates? I typically make one English and one Japanese DVD, so this could be really useful for me.

i have version 4.4.1.237 of tmpg. when the app starts, i get error message-pthreadGC2.dll not found, try re-install. after re-install, the problem remains. where can i find this dll?

Monkeytree  2008-06-02 14:54:41 ( ID:qal8zulw8u2 )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

hi there, ive had the same problem with version 3, try the following weblink

files.filefront.com/pthreadGC2dll/;7674775;/fileinfo.html

once downloaded, put the file into the following folders

c:\windows
c:\windows\system32

and also into installation directory of TMPGEnc 4, where the .exe file resides

once the .dll file is in place, the error message will disappear.

Father Christmass  2008-06-30 17:04:52 ( ID:vlkkisxlwl2 )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

My message disappeared when I copied the file to c:\windows\system32
the file is here: http://files.my-dll.com/mydll-pthreadgc2.dll.zip

Request - TDA3 - Chapter Tool - Automatic Sequential Naming No.60555
John  2008-03-04 04:43:59 ( ID:g/fxkmn1u2w )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

When using the Chaptering Tool and using the automatic methods chapters are not given unique names. This causes DivX Player 6.7.0 to fail to use the chapters in the final video properly. All chapters will have the name w or display some other Unicode character. Selecting those chapters returns the DivX video to the first frame in the video no matter what chapter is selected.

My request is that either by default or by using an option; there be a way to automatically name the chapters when using the chaptering tool. I think it would be preferred that the chapters have a sequential naming convention such as 1,2,3... or even have an option for more advanced auto naming abilities.

Thank you.

Request - TDA3 - divx encoder engine updates No.60554
donald  2008-03-03 14:43:36 ( ID:oo/n3tpqt92 )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

The divx engine in tmpgenc dvd author 3 with divx authoring is rather old.
That is to say: divxenc.ax, divxdec.ax, divxmux.ax should be updated. The corresponding files in Corel DVD Copy 6 pro are much newer than in TDA3.

Question - TDA3 - Chaptering Tool fails if no manual names entered No.60552
John  2008-03-02 07:29:13 ( ID:g/fxkmn1u2w )   [ Delete / Reply with quotation ]

I use the chaptering tool to automatically generate chapters. The problem is that if I don't manually do through and name each chapter after they are automatically created, the chaptering doesn't work in the final video file.

I will get some Chinese character as the chapter names (same character for every chapter) and selecting a chapter returns to the beginning of the video when using DIVX's official player ver. 6.7.0.

How do I fix this and what am I doing wrong?

If there is no fix, is there a way to automatically generate chapter numbers/names so I don't have to manually name each chapter?

Thank you.

John,

Are you able to play your DVD on any DVD player or do you have to have a DivX player only for the video to play correctly?
\Peter
