I am trying to create a dvd and when I click the Start Output button I get the following error message "Incomplete Cursor Link: The Top menu's "Top" menu group "Track" menu page button cursor link is incomplete."
I am not doing anything differently creating this project and this is the first time I've seen this error. What am I doing wrong?
Is this with a DVD with a custom menu? The "cursor link" is probably referring to the navigation links in your top menu. This is basically how your dvd remote navigates from one button to the other when you use the arrow buttons on the remote. These navigation links are completely editable in a custom menu and the error might be caused by a button not having enough navigation links to other buttons.
Go back to the Menu stage and select the top menu page. Go to the link editor and check the links for the track menu page button. Do this by clicking on the track menu button to select it. Small handles should appear on the four sides of the button's bounding box. Click and drag a handle to another button to link the two buttons.
Drawing a link from the bottom handle to another button means that in the DVD menu when you are on that button, pressing the down arrow on the remote will navigate to the other button. Hope that makes sense.
I had the exact same problem and this fixed it! Thanks, I never used the link editor before, just overlooked it. Where my problem came is I had made a few discs with different video clips on each but each one had almost the same menu, so I just edited it slightly each time. I went from having 4 clips on my track menu to 3 on the next disc and I moved the clip at the bottom left into the middle. This must have taken away the link from the 2nd clip to the 3rd clip. Once I drew an arrow to connect them again, it was fine!
I have been using TMPGEnc 4 for a few years importing several different video formats and sizes. All of a sudden I am starting to get this error message. > Not enough storage available to complete this operation (error code 0x8007000e)
I read a topic post that had a similar error message where the person was told that they actually really didn't have enough space - so I checked this out and just to see I changed my temporary output folder to my main disk drive folder which is telling me that I have around 30GB of free space which should be sufficient for a 4.7GB DVD output and I changed the final output folder to be saved in the same main disk drive folder aw well, but unfortunately, I got the same error code. Can someone please help? I have been trying to figure out what I did wrong even did a system restore to make sure - I can't figure out where I'm going wrong?
I'm new to TMPGEnc and I'm trying to take advantage of CUDA for filtering. I think I have it fully enabled and have done the performance optimization. I've added every filter under the sun and the encoding is still using 100% CPU and 0% CUDA. Are there certain input formats or output formats that CUDA is used for. The video I am trying to encode is AVC and I'm trying to encode as MPEG-4 AVC CBR high profile.
I'm trying to output an MP4 H264 for hi-def broadcast at 50Mbps. I'm really happy with the results of the encode other than the colour which is washed out. Is there a solution to this in the software?
There is a color correction filter that you can apply in the Source stage. Though if it's getting washed out during the encoding process, I'm wondering if the Main Concept encoder is to blame and will it then just wash out the color adjustment filter as well?
Hi, I recently purchased TMPEGEnc and vary happy with the results so far on my HV20 camera (I use it to do the reverse pulldown process to get the 24P material).
I also have a Panasonic GH1 camera that records 25P (the sensor is progressive) in a 50i container (AVCHD) - Aka 25PsF.
If i wish to convert the AVCHD files back to 25P what would be the best method?
1)Choose the deinterlace filter? (and if so, what would be the exact settings)
2)Just save as progressive frames file when choosing the format (for example, choosing Mpeg4 template and 25fps framerate) without using any filter?
I believe you only need to set it as progressive and 25 fps in the format stage. The deinterlace filter is actually always active and set to "deinterlace when necessary" so when you choose progressive in the format stage, it will use the filter.
You can always change the deinterlace settings though if you require a specific deinterlacing method or do not wish to deinterlace at all.
I have a non commercial Blu-ray I want to convert with TMPGE (home video from my brother). The disk plays fine as a Blu-ray but I can't get the Source Wizard to tease the disk apart like it would with the non commercial DVDs my brother used to send me.
Can TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress start with prefered filter enabled?
For exaple with Volume Adjustment filter enabled. It would be usefull becouse each time enable that filter is too long...
I want to recode a video from MKV to AVI (Divx) the origin has two audio channels and two subtitles.
TMPGEnc 4.0 gives me no option to choose is it so? How I can do to record all channels?
I'm building a new computer system to convert .vob to mpeg-1 I currently use a intel 6core processor with nvidia video card can't remember the model with ssd drive. Does any one know what the best config is with tmpeg to speed things up faster.
I have a registered version of TMPGenC 4.0 on this Win Vista 32 that used to work and now it refuse to initialize. At launch it passes the registration stage and then hang at the initialization stage. I did uninstall and reinstall many times with no sucess. Any ideas ?
I am having the same problem. I recently installed Windows XP 64 bit. I reloaded DVD author 3 and it worked fine. TMPEGENC 4.0 hangs on the license screen. If you put in a wrong license it immediatly tells you. Cannot get activated.
