TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 with DivX Authoring BBS [ Sorted by thread creation date ]
I have DVD author3 software. I am not able to paste the video that is cut from the current clip. How can I do it? Also, I am not able to use a different audio stream for a clip.
When you cut a scene from a clip, you are not copying that scene, you are actually saying that it's going to be deleted. There is no copy/paste scene function. If you want to take a certain scene and put it somewhere else, you'll have to use the clip split function to create a separate clip of your scenes. You can then rearrange your scenes in the Source stage.
If you want to use a different or additional audio stream for a clip, go to the Clip Properties and select a different audio source for Audio input 1. If you want to have two different audio streams, select "Multi-audio" for the Audio stream mode. You'll then be able to select two different audio sources.
Hallo , i have TMPGenc (3.1.2.176). I added to new project 7 files. I have edit them and saved project. Next I closed TMPGenc and opened the project. But there are not any files. Where is the problem? Size of td3 is cca 5MB.
Many thanks, Lubo
Do you mean that there's no clips or tracks in your saved project? Or that the changes aren't saved? Your source files will not be altered after you've cut-edited them. Any changes are transferred to your output file. The project file does not save the source files within it, it simply refers to the location of the source file on your computer.
I am trying to import subtitles for my video clips of the tv show boston legal. When I import the sub only 5 min of subs will import leaving the rest of the show without subs. need help.
Look at your subtitle file at the point where they stop working. Is there anything irregular such as odd characters or html?
When subtitles stop working at a certain point, that usually means there is something that TDA3 doesn't like.
Can I chage the aspect ratio of a finished DVD menu? I want to chage from 4:3 to 16:9, but I only find to do it if I make a new DVD menu. I haven't found to change it in the dvd menu properties.
I don't believe you can. I have found the menu creation process lacking in many respects including not being able to change things without having to start over.
somehow I can convert rmvb to DVD before, but after I reinstall my os I cannot do it anymore. I got an error that it cannot open the video part and only the audio part can be opened. I remembered I installed FFDShow, realplayer, nero and DVD Author 3 together. please help.
Hey guys. A quick question here, and I think I already know what the answer is going to be, but I'd just like to make sure...
Is there any way to leave out a track when using the "Play All" feature? So for example, say I have Tracks 1-4 on a DVD, selecting "Play All" would play Tracks 1-3, but not Track 4 - this can only be played by selecting it separately.
Like I said, I realise it's a long shot, (I can't find anything in the Help file to suggest this can be done), but hey nothing to lose by asking.
I have been using TDA3 for six months or so. I have been importing a variety of files, and having no issues regarding a/v sync. However, lately it's been churning out DVD's that are a second or two out of sync. The files themselves are ok. I have played them in a variety of players. I have also checked the preview within TDA3 and it is in sync. I went ahead and burned a couple DVD's using Windows, and the audio is right in sync with the video. Only when I burn the DVD's with TDA3 does this problem occur. I have read other accounts of this, but yet to see a clear answer on the issue.
All I know was that it was working, and now it isn't. Any help on this would be appreciated. Please keep in mind that I don't know much by way of tech-speak, so please reply as though I don't know what I am doing. For the most part, I don't. Thanks. -JB
It all depends upon what file format the video is in. If you have the DVD files output by DVD Author, then I have found this to be a good program for extracting the audio: http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/
Also, TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress has the ability to just extract the audio from the various input file formats it can handle.
I have recorded a DVB-T program with Freeview TV card
Unfortunaly this File has a long GOP (18 Frames)
as PAL DVD standard is only 15 frame this will not drop onto a DVD without some reencoding.
if the Keyframes are at 0,18,36,54,72,
Can TMPGE DVD smart render shorten the GOP's an render new Keyframes at 9,27,45,63
this resulting in a Pal DVD compatable file with GOP's of 9 (0,9,18,27,36 etc)
