I used TempEnc to removed a clip from a large video clip and it worked with any error messages - just checked the clip and there is no sound... next time I tried the same huge clip only minutes after the first time I have error "-537403781 180576" which I didn't get the first time...
I have no problem what so ever with Media Player.
What does -537403781 180576 mean??????
Only reference I found while googling is a german forum and my german is so rusty its not worth mentioning but I did see it had to be a codec problem.
This is the info I get with Gspot when I render:
DirectShow claims to be able to play the file. The following combination of filters were used:
{B:\Movie maker\RAW 20050606.avi} (Source)
{AVI Splitter} (Splitter)
{Xvid MPEG-4 Video Decoder} (Video Decoder)
{Video Renderer} (Video Renderer)
{MP3 Decoder DMO} (Audio Decoder)
{Default DirectSound Device} (Audio Renderer)
This is the audio info:
Audio Format:
Code: 0x0055
Name: WAVE_FORMAT_MPEGLAYER3 (MP3)
Vendor: ISO/MPEG
The following codecs all claim to be capable of processing this format:
--> {Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (decode only)}
{Nero Digital Audio Decoder}
--> {MP3 Decoder DMO}
Plz help me... it works one minute and the next the file doest work with Temp anymore but it works perfect with Media Player the whole time... Plz help...

Your under MPEG Editor 2 thread and that program doesn't support AVI format. So i'm assuming you mean TMPGEnc 2.5? How large is your video clip? dimension, bitrate, file size? What output format did you use? I think it might be your encoder, if you are using AVI Xvid or DivX for re-encoding the setting might not be correct. Those kind of errors isn't normal for TMPGEnc type of error.

The videos is different in sizes... they are sometimes around 700 Mb and sometimes smaller. Dimension, bitrate = I have no idea... not bother what those things... its more info than I need to know... I just want a piece of the large file... output is normally PAL if I understand what output means correctly... after I get those errors and keep using the program there is no sound on the finished result...

Hey Ellie,
seems like a codec issue to me. TMPGEnc doesn't support MP3, so you will need an external codec to decode it for audio. Go to videohelp.com and look for LAME MP3 codec or on freecodec.com
Are you using MPEG Editor 2 or TMPGEnc 2.5? both software are completely different and I can't help without knowing which one you have.
